The Lunch Club and regular help

The Good Neighbours Lunch Club meets nearly every Tuesday in the village. The meals, which comprise a main course (typically meat and two vegetables) and a dessert, followed by tea or coffee, are provided from a centre in Hemel Hempstead.

As a member of the Club you are expected to attend regularly. Currently the Club has about 25 members. Transport can be arranged for those who need it.

Members pay a charge each week to cover the cost of the meal, the cost of hiring the venue and other incidental costs.

The Club is run by a group of volunteers who carry out all the necessary tasks to ensure that the diners are able to enjoy their meals in a relaxed atmosphere.

If you are a resident of Kings Langley and are interested in joining our Lunch Club, please call 07527 907128. One of our Lunch Club Co-ordinators will call you back and discuss the Club with you.

Cutting the cake

Stephen Clarke looks on as Jan Farrant and Karen Morrish help Win Curran cut the 50th Anniversary cake. All club members also received a memorial mug.
